program covers different types of platforms and their applications.
We will cover the types of hazards encountered on site and how to address
each issue.
Note: This program does include a hands-on component.
Before operators can be considered competent, they require both supervised
hands-on training and experience with the particular class of machine
they will be using. The “hands-on” component may or may
not be on the specific class of machine you work with. Additional training
will be required on the specific piece of equipment you will be using.
Note: Prerequisites for the course are “Basics
of Fall Protect” and “Basic Propane Handling” if the
operator changes the propane on the machine.
